Day 3 Erasmus Volos Greece

Today was a busy day in school. When the students arrived, they were  in lessons and then we all met to read our stories of equality.    From Stantonbury, Mr Berwick and Ms Devlin worked on the stories in lessons which were then read by our visiting students here in Greece. Our project is collaborative. Not only are the objectives met while abroad but they are disseminated and produced across the school in lessons so that all students are included and have an opportunity to share their experiences and contribute.  We spent much of the day working on the discussion of the project as teachers while the students were in lessons but we did take time to participate in the National remembrance day of the fall of the dictatorship which took place on July 23 1974 and it is remembered today for the uprising on this day in 1973. Day 2 Erasmus + Volos, Greece

Our day started in school with our students arriving in their uniform to a flood of interest and questions about their attire and what all the logos and pins mean. They were complimented on their uniform and the girls were very proud to wear them and tell the Greek students and teachers about it.  All foreign students were taking photos of our students in their uniform- They were like celebrities! Maisie, Zoha and Cassidy presented on Stantonbury to the Greek students. They spoke confidently and were very proud to share our school values which subsequently became the main focus of a drama activity which took place later in them morning. Both Cassidy and Zoha introduced themselves in Mandarin while Maisie spoke in German. There was a teacher's coordinators meeting where we discussed the dissemination of the project, eTwinning and our future visits. School here starts at 8:00 am and finishes early afternoon.
